There is always a begining of a journey as a professional, so I wanted to go back and include in my blog the very first photo's I ever shot at a wedding. The bride just so happened to be my younger sister Claudine, who was marrying her fiancee Steve at Holkham Hall, just down the road from us on the North Norfolk coast. The day was upon us, and I packed my camera. Having spoken to various other photographers, I knew how much of a pain 'Uncle Bob' can be at a wedding, so was extremely mindful to remain a guest and not get in the way.
To set the scene, Holkham Hall is one of the most beautiful country homes in the country, and the Lady Elizabeth suite was a less than a year old when my sister set her heart on it as the venue for her wedding. The grand staircase in the Marble Hall is quite simply breathtaking, and despite running around after my 2 year old daughter Paige for the best part of the day, I managed to get a few shots of my family and the speeches.
The very talented photographer Kelly Goyette was my sister's photographer on the day, doing an amazing job from start to finish. Claudine wore Maribella by Morilee and her flowers came from Swaffham and Fakenham Florists, now know as Floral Sistas. The most
